I'm not really familiar with the game that these figures are based on, but the gamer editions so far look very nice, and as a Prime collector, I'm always gonna snap up a good looking Prime. This is a seriously lovely figure of Prime. Thick, chunky and looks super powerful in bit mode. Good articulation here. The transformation is enjoyable pretty straight forward and nothing complex. Truck mode is a proper nice job, reminding me of a 70s muscle car look. Two things I'm not a fan of though, not major things but still, they stand out. The finish is quite plastic looking, he could have used a paint job just to add a little quality to the finish. The gaps at the rear are a put off for me but seeing as this guys gonna stay in Bot mode, it'll not bother me too much. He's quite gappy in the joints, nothing new I guess but it cheapens the look a little. I picked up a 3D printed upgrade set for it that improves an already seriously nice figure tenfold. Gap fillers mainly, but some nice fold out covers for the rear of the neck and shoulders, some spacer parts to give a broarder looking shoulder position. Not a fan of the provided Blaster so I bought a more traditional looking Ion Blaster aftermark A really lovely version of Prime, recommended.
