I'd like to say that this is the figure of the year, but it's truly the figure of the decade. Other Magnus have come close but this here studio series release is stunning. It's everything I would have wanted from a new Magnus. Being an 80s kid I had (and still have) the G1 figure. If I'd have seen this in 1987 I'd have had a fit. The only thing that is missing is a proper white core robot but you know, it's done far better without one. I much prefer the Magnus that transforms in one piece as this does. Robot mode is stunning if a little wide in the shoulders? Truck mode is aweome, and what's best is the cab can be removed so it can roll by itself. The cab compares well to Earthrise Primes altmode in scale. Not tried any smaller bots on the trailer yet but it looks like a fair few will fit on there. Transformation is pretty easy and some little bits of magic happen with the knees and well hidden fold out panels. A must for Magnus fans.
