Terms and Conditions – Win a Trip to Star Wars Celebration in Japan

1     Start date

              This promotion will start at 11am on 14^th March 2025(“the Start Date”).

2     Closing date

               The closing date for this promotion will be 30^th March 2025 at 23.59 (“the End Date”). Entries received by the Promoter (as hereinafter defined) after this time will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

3     How to participate

3.1        In order to enter this promotion, a person must be over the age of 18 years and residents of mainland UK and purchase an in stock product or in stock products from Star Action Figures within a single transaction to the minimum value of £20 during the period starting on and including the Start Date and ending on and including the End Date, and confirm entry request at checkout. Any person that makes a purchase from the Promoter in accordance with these terms and conditions (an “Entrant”) will have made a valid submission to this promotion (a “Valid Entry”). Orders containing pre-orders may not be entered in the draw. Only orders that have shipped by the end of March will qualify.

3.2       Transactions that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

3.3       An Entrant may enter this promotion as many times as they wish.

4     Selection of the winner

4.1      One Entrant will be selected as a winner of this promotion (a “Winner”).

4.2      A Winner will be the Entrant whose Valid Entry is first randomly selected from all Valid Entries.

5     Prize

5.1     The prize is as follows:

5.1.1 A pair of tickets to the Star Wars Celebration event in Japan (covered by Disney); and

5.1.2 Round-trip flights and hotel accommodations for up to two people (covered by Hasbro).

5.2       There is no alternative prize. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and/or this promotion at any time without notice.

5.3        In the event a Winner or Confirmed Winner (as hereinafter defined) notifies the Promoter that they are unwilling or otherwise unable to utilise the prize or fails to provide any required information or confirmations to the Promoter within a specified period as required under these terms and conditions then the provisions for the selection of an alternative Winner as set out in paragraph 7.1 shall apply.

5.4       The prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item or items of value and does not include any additional costs and expenses that may be incurred by a Winner or Confirmed Winner.

6      Restrictions and requirements

6.1      Please note the following restrictions and requirements apply: Offer open to residents of mainland UK Only

6.2      The Promoter, any immediate family of the Promoter, employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this promotion.

7      Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

7.1        The Promoter will notify a selected Winner by email or telephone on or before 2^nd April 2025 and will notify that Winner of the details and confirmations they must provide to the Promoter in order to receive the prize. If a selected Winner does not respond to the notification within two days (beginning with and including the day that notification is sent by the Promoter to the Winner) or fails to provide the requested details to the Promoter within the same period, the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will select an alternative Winner from the remaining Valid Entries in accordance with the process described above (and that Winner will also have two days to respond to their notification on the terms as set out herein). A Winner that responds to the Promoter’s notification and provides the required details and confirmations to the Promoter within the specified period will be eligible to receive the prize (a “Confirmed Winner”).

7.2       Subject to compliance with these terms and conditions, a Confirmed Winner will receive their prize on or before 11^th April 2025

8      Publicity and personal information

8.1        The personal information of all Entrants to this promotion will be used to process their entry or entries, to contact them about their entry, and for the purposes outlined in paragraphs 8.2 and 8.3 below. 8.2       The first name, surname and image of a Winner or a Confirmed Winner will be published at www.staractionfigures.co.uk for one month after the End Date.

8.3        Any Entrant to this promotion agrees to participate in publicity relating to this promotion if they are selected as a Winner or a Confirmed Winner and for their first name, surname and image to be used for promotional and marketing purposes by the Promoter.

9     General

9.1       This promotion is operated by Star Action Figures Ltd, 3-4 Woodingdean Business Park, Brighton, BN2 6NX (“the Promoter”).

9.2       While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the Promoter will not be legally responsible to Entrants for any losses that were not foreseeable to the Promoter or to an Entrant at the time of entry to the promotion or which are caused by a third party.

9.3       The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions, although if an Entrant is resident elsewhere they will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to them by the laws of that country.

9.4       Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales This means that an Entrant can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which they live.
